Digg Search: Clever adsense click trick?

Try this out... take a look at the digg search results page (example below:)

    http://digg.com/search?section=news&s=adsense

and notice the drop down menus above the adsense ads. If you change some of the search options notice how it goes above the ad. One day I found myself somehow accidentally clicking the ad because of this...

I wonder if anyone out there has noticed this or has tried this technique? Not sure if they are doing it on purpose - but I think I'll have to try it!

"Digg is experiencing a high volume of traffic right now. Please try your search again later."

Digg is such a piece of shit. Anything > Digg.

I have accidently clicked on the Google Ads on Digg as a result of this as well. Good catch. I doubt Digg is making serious rev because of this functional "problem".

Spending money on adwords it's really wasting money.. i have sorry for those you pay for clicks like these...

Google should be ashame of accepting these kind of things. It's ridiculous.

When you select one of the options, such as sort by most diggs, the drop down menu covers the adsense ad. I have found that a few times it is easy for your mouse to "slip" and click on the ad instead of the selection. Anywho...I think I may have to try this out and see if I can get some clicks this way as well!

    See attached...

Agreed... I think Google is going to have to make some major changes as their adsense program is out of date in my opinion. The more time goes by the less people will click on ads.... less rev for google, etc.
