This just shows how unstable Digg admins are?
If they knew they could properly protect themselves from false diggs, they wouldn't be doing mad bans. This kind of stuff will ultimately drive more people to abuse the system as the admins make arses out of themselves and kick legit and supportive members from their site.

I've just received an email from Sarahk, and just logged into digg okay without any problems. Why have people been banned - haven't read throughout the thread yet.

May be this kind of stuffs are responsible for mass banning.
Perhaps they thought DP is actively promoting misuse of digg

After all this is same as asking someone to click adsense ads

PS: Glad that you are okay with digg Darren. :)

They banned my story and the friend who added it to digg today. I am pissed! I am writing an article on this and it will be posted on my blog tomorrow. I am going to be very critical of their actions. These guys basically banned my friend for just posting an article. We didn't ask anyone to digg on these forum. Nothing! All natural and it was about to come up to the front page... boom it was gone just before that! They just don't want people to talk about their crap. Not burried but just gone. Try searching it does not show up!

They have now already banned 25 members reporting here.

What the hell they are going to make out from this?

If your comment doesn't show PM me and I'll scan the akismet list ;)
Maybe it's a viral marketing plan and we're all talking about digg and newbies will wonder what the fuss is about and sign up? We must all be super-influential ;)
