Digg Removes TOP USERS LISTS

    What a joke.

    First he says "We strongly believe attempts to game Digg are ineffective."

    Then he goes on to explain how they are completely removing one of the original features of the site because some "outlets" have "accused" top diggers of funny business. It seems to me that attempts to game Digg are highly effective if they are willing to re-engineer part of their site as a result of the mere accusation of such activity.

    Meanwhile, you have a top poster on the system who is caught playing this game and banned. The guy openly admits to pushing through fake news stories that he was paid to get listed on the front page, and they let him back in because he said he was sorry.

    Only on digg. What a crazy fricken site.
