Digg use to be very technology related but right now is a general news portal. (take a look at the categories... they cover basically everything)

that is some serious traffic! Must have been a really excellent read. There's allot of useless articles on Digg but usually the stuff on the main page is a pretty good read.

 

What kind of story are you submitting with?

 

I have now submitted an article on Search Engine Optimization, I am hoping that it will get a good ranking and get listed well and viewed alot.

I like to help others and writting informational websites is something that i enjoy.

I'm just starting out in this whole marketing arena, but I had been told that putting stuff in Digg was a good way to go and seeing your numbers just proves it. I'm getting started right now!

 

That is a good way to go. There are so many ways to advertise and market your business, website or service.

I advise that reading about Search Engine Optimization and other marketing tools would be a great way to help yourself.
