About 18 hours ago, one of my site made it to Digg's frontpage. 185K visitors since then. holy shit! I have appeared on Digg's frontpage on two previous occasion, but this one is the biggest. The graph above is not fully updated Total revenue from digg traffic = $130 The best part is - I didn't submit it to digg.
wooow.. thats really a F*****g Awesome. damn can i know what is your website, that became huge popular on digg
Something really silly - an image website. Never thought it would become so popular. social news sites like digg, stumbleupon etc are unpredictable.
wow someone else must have submitted it to digg did you write an article or something? I would like to create something like that. With 185,000 visitors I would make a killing since I am making one sale per 250 visitors on average
Digg is very nice. Even though one of my articles is not front page. Hundreds of unique visitors still come in as the Digg article is on the first page of google search. Congrats to you on front page!
Whatever the conversion - it must feel GREAT to see this happen. Now, you should consider how to (a) replicate the event and (b) monetize it
Here is some pretty cool tips on how to make it to the front page of Digg: http://www.the-trukstop.com/articles/2007/digg_front_page.html
That is fantastic news i have been using Digg for a few months but mainly just for the backlinks and announcments about new websites be launched.Well done
i had my sites there before. i had 40k visitors and it brought down my server .did your server stay up ?
Having success with Digg is something I've wanted for a long time on some of my sites but never really achieved. Well done!
