Two questions,

1) Isn't shouting to 1000 people pretty much impossible now as I read you can only shout to a small number of friends at a time and then have to wait?

2) if you paste a URL in a shout, will it become clickable?

3) And what sort of thing should you write in a shout? Just the URL or say something like "What do you think of this?" I just don't want to come over as spammy.

 

1) Yes, it's possible now so the only workaround is that you do it in batches (which is a pain really and sometimes defeats the purpose).

2) Nope.

3) Ask nicely the same way you would digg your friend's content if they ask you to.

 

2) So the people who receive the shout actually have to copy and paste the URL into their address bar?
