Which website is the most successful digg-like ? It brings similar visitors to websites. Do you have some good experiences ?
There are plenty . . . some of the other most popular ones are Reddit, Netscape, Delicious, StumbleUpon . . . there are plenty more out there. Just google Social Bookmarking sites
Slashdot is probably the biggest if you're looking for the closest successful comparison to Digg, as already mentioned - if you're just looking for sites which can potentially lead to the "Digg Effect" (huge traffic spikes for popular links/stories etc) then there are several - as mentioned, just search social bookmarking and you're bound to find endless articles and lists on this
Slashdot is a lot like digg as mentioned... Reddit is a lot smaller digg but is more general.. Netscape is digg but covers all topics techmeme resembles digg a bit with its mainly tech articles
i have a bit strange comment on this but there is one competitor for the Digg.com . the competitor of Digg.com is Digg.com
I personally find social bookmarking sites like digg.com almost useless for qualified, targeted traffic because the demographics of the people that use those sites are all the same.... ie. webmasters trying to get some cheap traffic. They basically provide an alternate spin off way of exchanging traffic. Yes it might work for some people but its short term and its useless traffic. Well that was off the topic but got it off my chest... lol Google is your friend... search for SOCIAL BOOKMARKING and you'll find a few "competitors".
Reddit and StumbleUpon worked best for me. But some time ago dig worked fine too... Also, I think it much depends on auditory.
If we are to believe official statistics, the current rivals of Digg, coming second and third in line, are MyNetscape and Myweb (Yahoo's social network). Anyway, I can hardly compare these two and all the others listed, Digg is simply different (I am not saying better) than the rest.
Like they said Digg is not that good since they don't click on ads and by the second week all your new visitors are gone.
I search the web and I think I agree with you Netscape seems to be N°2. According to this very good article, you get few thousand visitors and a 24 hours PR9 link. http://searchengineland.com/070508-182728.php
