Ok whats the deal with digg comments - other forums are saying they have just turned all comments to NOFOLLOW. Any new/updates anyone?

Yeah, Digg comments are nofollow. But still it's a good way to drive traffic.

My friend has told me to put the comment on Digg. It is the way get a traffic. But the nofollow issues, i'm not sure about this. I just comment to get the traffic.

Keep in mind that nofollow links help with rankings on every search engine but Google. So it still will help your Yahoo & MSN rankings. Most sites probably wouldn't get much quality direct traffic from such comments though.

Are Digg posts nofollow as well? Or is it just the comments?

They turned comments nofollow just this week back or they were already nofollow way back? It seems quite confusing.

They probably changed it to NoFollow to decrease the amount of people spamming Digg to try increase PageRank. However, you can still get some traffic for Digg, just no PR Juice.

One needs to be very active on digg and needs to comment regularly. If your comment is in the top 5 and that particular post manages to get on the most popular page, the traffic from it would be substantial....
