So yesterday I was talking to my friend who says he used to run a small website of about 200 people. He used it for a tech. site that he used to run. Basically, for every 'digg' you give, you get one in return. He was able to get articles on his site up on the main page quite a few times from what I understand doing this. Does anyone know of one of these 'digg networks'? And if not, would anyone want to join something like that if I created one?
There's no doubting that Digg is a great tool for driving traffic but it goes against the grain to artificially manipulate the stats doesn't it?
Just post your articles here when they are listed and I'm sure many DPers will Digg you if it's useful.
You have just been Dugg, Sarah. Stand at 5 diggs so far. I may post one myself when I reach the 100 game milestone with my games site.
And while we're chasing Digg I thought this article was interesting: Digg Effect: The Top 10 Things Webmasters Should Know Some of the comments apply more broadly to other traffic programs.
Someone Dugg one of my posts a while back: http://digg.com/music/A_to_Z_Guide_To_Online_Music_Downloads I'd appreciate any Diggs...
I digg every article I see posted here... keep them coming. Here is one of mine: http://digg.com/links/Should_you_use_RSS_feeds_
Dugg It. I would love it if you could all do the same if you like this http://digg.com/music/Growing_Your_Music_Collection_
Yeah... it does. However, we can only get things started, the actual digg users would still have to like the article if you ever stand a chance of getting on the front page.
To subigo and Quality Master, you've been dugg. Your articles seem interesting, I am reading both of them .
I've dugg you all I've been in digg a few times in the past but never made the front page, I'll be sure to ask you to get your spades out next time I'm in with a chance
http://digg.com/music/Growing_Your_Music_Collection_ Thought I would pop that back in again. I really want that to get on the music page..
Dugg. I Dugg a friend of mine's site (http:www.indieum.com), and Lifehacker saw the Digg, and featured him the next day. His traffic went through the roof, and he has kept most of it, but bhe has a great site.
