    The only benefit i can see in Digg is having a hundreds and thousands random visitors to your server has been disputed many times before. These visitors tend to visit your webpage for about a second or less and never come back. They just want to see what the fuss is all about.

    it will help in generating traffic which then will help in PR to increase. so it is an indirect way to increase PR. do follow have more importance then no follow. i think one do follow will give you more benefit than 100 no follow links to increase a PR.
