A lot of pages on digg are nofollw as far as i know. Check the source to see if they are dofollow, if they are then it is all good
Digg is pretty much all nofollow, so is of limited use for accruing Page Rank. It is more useful for social media traffic generation - it can generate huge numbers of visitors if you get it right. However if you do get that exposure on Digg then you'll also see that it drives awareness amongst bloggers, and other sites (which may be dofollow) may also link to you. That's obviously good for PageRank.
This ^^^ Are digg still doing the toolbar thing aswell? Because at the time, that drained pretty much any linkjuice that you thought you were getting from digg.
digg can bring traffic to your site, but can not help your PR, you should try dofollow bookmarking sites.
i before thought digg is dofollow but now still not sure but i change destination to sqidoo as they are dofollow.
NO. Not at all. It's a hardcore nofollow site. Use it only if you have some really juicy content, and need a lot of traffic.
Exactly what cel13 said. Especially if your website is new, you NEED to post something unique or provoking to attract attention.
Awww i just read this topic and deleted the digg toolbar in the same moment, i thought digg was bringing some PR to me...
Yep, alot of webmaster say's good to use digg, and that made me thought that's improve my pagerank, i didn't make much research about digg... But now i know the real reason, the purpose is for generating traffic, that will improve your pagerank couse you will make more natural links!
Nofollows can help, but you'd need a lot of them to do much. If you're looking to only improve PR, skip Digg.
As far as I know, if you're trying to build up your website's page rank, DON'T use Digg, Links on Digg has nofollow attributes, therefore, you can't benefit your website's page rank by submitting your links to Digg.
Digg can bring traffic to your site, but can not help your PR, it's nofolow, so you should try dofollow bookmarking sites.
