Digg beating my SERPs

Not like I'm particularly unhappy about this, I'm just curious as to why:
Whenever I write a dieting article and publish it, then submit it to digg, the digg link always ends up on page 1-3 for my specific keyword, while the results to my actual site drags behind a few more pages.

I'm guessing it's because digg has more similar content, so the search engine favours them? My site only has around 10 articles at the moment.
Is this just an old case of 'content = king'?

yes..that's why you can't submit your article frequently to digg.
their serp will be much more better than any sites.

keep it low..try other social bookmarking

In time, your rank should improve and outrank a digg submission to your site. Is this your experience, or does digg continue to outrank you after a week or two?

see, once your content get index than submit that to digg, or write different text while submit to digg so u wont face this problem again.
