I tried to look for answer around but I couldnt find one so I thought this is the best place to ask it as some Google Experts might help me out. Basically I have seen a lot of websites with Pr 4-5-6 and when I click google toolbar to check their backlinks I see most of them have backlink from Digg.com some of these submission have only 10 diggs or so while others 100+. But at same time I have my website which have over 100 Digg submissions and all over 80+ Diggs but google doesn't show any of those backlinks. So my question is, which Digg submissions do google count as a backlink and which ones it doesn't because it is not based on number of Diggs as I know a lot of submissions that are counted as backlink but they are only 5 diggs or so. any help?

How do you check your backlinks? Google Webmaster tools? Also, your profile at Digg, is it indexed by Google?
Hey Earnest you asked the question and found the answer - how about sharing what you found here in the thread where you asked the question?
Your profile is indexed just search your username with digg after it... For me: ash1402 digg brings up my digg profile
I thought every submission to Digg counts as a backlink. It's better if the story hit the mainpage, in that case the URL get higher PR for sure. But I can see backlinks from Digg with just 1-2 diggs so every submission counts.
It shows in Webmastet tools as well as, It shows with the link command also. I have also seen it many times. The question is right, but i don't know why it is so.
Checking our links in Google webmaster tool will give us the clear picture about the kind and number of links we get from various resources including social media sites
Check your backlinks from google webmaster tools Even though google doesn't list your back links using link "site.com" BUT It surely consider them
