Hi, Previously I have been using Digg to get content ideas, but after they changed the site it's no longer the place it used to be (i.e. it can no longer be used to get content ideas). So is there another site where you can get content ideas, so you can create some great content that will get a lot of links? Preferably a site where people submit content and vote on them, so you can check out the submissions with the most votes and get some great ideas. Thanks, Mads
The BEST way to do it is to just create some type of portal that contains feeds of aggregate collection of sites. Then, you could pick and choose. You could always setup Google alerts for specific topics that can go directly to your email. I also search on Google for funny pictures, and limit the date to yesterday or most recent. Here is an example: https://www.google.com/#q=funny+pictures&safe=on&tbs=qdr:d
The best place to get content ideas is through Ranker - The largest site dedicated to list creation and voting.
No problem guys. Check this thread out: https://forums.digitalpoint.com/thr...ugh-ranker-com-free-referral-traffic.2701630/ It teaches you how to link build with the site.
Reddit will be your best alternative, but you will have to really dig into it - as the reddit homepage is not like what digg used to be. Not everything that is popular on reddit reaches the homepage. I had a story that gave me 7k uniques from reddit but it never reached homepage. Other than that, scoop.it is a good place to research. I always find unique article ideas on that site - however never really managed to get any traffic out of it.
