I've found out that there are diffrent search results ( google.co.uk ,google.com ) at diffrent browsers . How it works than ? Another thing - once you logged in ( google account - no matter if webmaster tools or mail ) - google shows completelly diffrent search results than if you logged out. Any ideas ? So which search results are most accurate ?
Right, it's Google being Google. You just have to disable search history. Even not logged into the gmail account, Google will enable your search history and in turn customize the results. After getting to the results page, click on "Web History" and then "disable customizations based on signed-out search activity" After that, you will see the actual rankings.. for most keywords. Google does location based rankings too.. but that's the ones with the local pack's on them for the most part.
Google will implement location based results even if you tell it not to . But i haven't seen any deferences whit browsers .
results do not differ on Browser ( chrome , ie, firefox etc..) but will differ on location basis, user basis , user language basis.
That is pretty good tip "Brad". I found such things many a times and thought that it is because of search engine response.
usually if you are seeing different results accross browsers and .com to .co.uk there is an update to the index taking place. Customised results do play a part but even if you sign out of evrything and disable all customisations you can still get different results
Its Google, the smartest and wisest in the world of technology.. Search rankings vary region to region ...
Using IE and Firefox yields entirely different results for me as well. Strange stuff, and I never noticed this before.
