Diffrence between Social bookmarking and Directory submission

Hi,
I have submitted my site information in many directory and now I want to submit my site information in Book marking site. I want to ask that both are more similar or different. If they are different please tell me use of both in seo field.

directory allow only 250 characters and bookmarking site allow 1000 characters something.
80% Directory have 0 ro 2 PR but social bookmarking site have good PR minimum 3
70% are nofollow but 90% social bookmarking site dofollow
google daily visit on bookmarking site not in directory

 

Both have different effects on SERP results.Directory submission will take time. But social bookmarking sites have been crawled by bots regularly and so it brings some effective changes in SERP.

here are big different in both of them and both are beneficial in SEO, SEO is the big game and both are SEO parts both playing there own role. Here is few things which I want to mention here.
You can get good traffic from social bookmarking sites not for directory submission
Your site crawl fast through social book marking site but directory submission page didn't crawl fast compare to social book marking sites....

 

if you submit your site into Directories you need to wait for approval. But if you submit your site into Social Bookmarking sites no need to wait for approval.We get more traffic through Social Bookmarking. Search Engines Visits Bookmarking sites regularly comparing with Directories.

 

bookmarking site have good page rank. it is better because google daily visit on bookmarking site.

 

1.We can bookmark our favourite sites to have an easy access to our sites in bookamrking sites.
2.Social Bookmarking sites have more visitors, high PR and are being crawled by bots regularly as compared to directory submission sites.
3.We can tag and share our links with our friends and followers in social bookmarking sites, which in return fetches more visitors to our sites. This feature is not available in directory submission sites.
4. In Directory submission links require lot of time to get approved, but in Social Bookmarking it takes less time for approval.

 

Looking towards SEO point of view i think social bookmarking is the most effective way as it has more visitors,high PR and get regularly indexed by robots.Comparing to social bookmarking all the links directories nether have such a good PR nor they are being crawled such frequently.

 

I get much more traffic from social bookmarking sites than I get from directories.
