www. abc .com is best comparing to www. a-b-c .com because (-) is not user friendly...

yes i am also agreeing with abc.com but as you people have checked the domain .there was no such 3word combination left .

now day it is good to use your domain with - that is good in seo respect yes i am sure it is not user friendly.

    First choice: abc.com

    2nd choice: a-b-c.com

If abc is one word then, abc.com is best

If a=1 word, b=1word, c=1word, then a-b-c.com is acceptable choice.

Defiantly the domain abc is good compared to a-b-c. the reason is that the domain is best if its user friendly and easy to remember.

as the members said above (-) is not user friendly and try to avoid that in your domain names.

In layman's terms, abc represents your keyword and a-b-c is not as great as the value of the domain name with abc.com.

I'm also assuming that your keyword abc is something like dog training tips and not d-o-g-t-... as with the a-b-c. That's just insane! :D

The best and simplest explanation is just to accept that it's the way Google's algorithm works.

    These are 2 different domains.
But from SEO point of view abc.com is more SEO-friendly.
Using (-) in domain name is not good from SEO.
Focus on the theme based domain, you can also insert keywords.

Google will view those as two different pages. You're describing what is called a canonical issue. Just put a little snippet of script in your .htaccess file and you won't have that problem. Generally this one will work if you have an Apache server:

    Options +FollowSymlinks
    RewriteEngine on
    rewritecond %{http_host} ^yoursite.com [nc]
    rewriterule ^(.*)$ http://www.yoursite.com/$1 [r=301,nc]

You also must make sure that the rewrite module is turned on in your server.

Both are seo friendly and they get the same treatment from search engine algorithm but to the user it might not look good.
Try to avoid hypens and numbers in domain instead use some alphabets or a single related word.
