Different ways to market my site.

I own a site callled aparticles I have had this site up and running for a couple of months now and in one month got 2000 hits of this site.

I am now looking for different ways or some advice to generate over 10,000 hits per month so that instead of me bidding on jobs, clients can ring me up or talk to me on skype and I can get money through that way.

I am also looking at different ways to earn money on this site so if anyone can give me advice on that part that would be good also.

There is no clear call to action on your website. What is it you want people to do when they get there? I would imagine your bounce rate is very high?

 

Make it article directory then you should submit to criticdirectory list and then see good hits.

 

You can use services like Buying traffic and Links exchange to start up your site

 

When people get to my site I want them to think "oh right this guy looks like a good writer, I am going to contact him to see what he can offer me as I have a few articles that need doing."

How can I do this. I have never doing something like what you suggested but would like to try it out. I am also looking to fully optimize my site so I can get more traffic.

 

Try going viral with the quality of the site....

 

Site is kind of "blah" to me from a design standpoint. The design makes it hard to read your text.

Also, your sample articles should probably be in .pdf format because anyone without MS Office isn't going to be able to open them to see your work.
