Hi, I just signed up here, and just started with azoogle and had a question about the offer tracking URL. Seems like they use a variety for each offer. In the offers list, if you mouse over the landing page link it shows a tracking URL. On the offer details page it shows a different tracking URL in the greyed out box (e.g.http://x.azjmp.com/0Fl2b). Furthermore, if I look at any one of the banners for that offer, the code shows a different tracking URL again (e.g. http://x.azjmp.com/0Fl4b). Are they all the same? Are they all specific for my account meaning I could use any and still get leads? Also, what is the purpose of the 1px image moved to the top-left of the ad with its own tracking URL? Is this necessary? There is actually a CSS error in that line of code (no ';' after position:relative and before left:-1px) but that's another story! So, there are like 4 tracking URLs in the offer. Why? Can I just use any of them? Do I need that little 1px image? Thanks!
You do NOT want to use the landing page link. That is simply a sample to go to the landing page. You want to go to the offer, select the appropriate option, search or web, select the appropriate creative, if available and use that link for what you are doing. You want to take the url from the tracking url box, for search, or else use the appropriate "get code" for web selections.
Hey, Thanks for replying. What about for a text link in a website? That is, it's not one of their creatives like a banner or popup. Should I use the main tracking URL like you mentioned I should for Search (I'm assuming Search is for things like AdWords?) I appreciate the comments. There's not a whole lot of explanation inside Azoogle itself.
