I'm seeing substantially different SERPs for my kw group on: 72.14.207.99 72.14.207.104 72.14.207.106 Here's where it really gets interesting. On all DCs except those above, my site is #4 for my main keyphrase (pool of 6+ million). If I go to google.co.uk and search 'the entire web' my site comes up #2. When I look at the cache, it show that I'm viewing results from 64.233.161.104. Ok, so if I went directly to 64.233.161.104 I should see the same SERPs right? I don't. 64.233.161.104 is in the main group that I checked manually. So where are the co.uk SERPs coming from? You got it... one of the 72.14.207.xxx DCs. Basically, at least one of the 72.14.207.xxx DCs is feeding co.uk and either G is trying to keep it stealth by displaying 64.233.161.104 as the cache source, or the cache is truly coming from a different DC then SERPs. Either way, it seems like the 72.14.207.xxx series may have a special purpose in life. I'm hoping the SERPs on 72.14.207.xxx propagate.
McDar's Google Dance Tool is extremely good for monitoring these fluctuations. Unfortunately, the trend seems to be against me.
Seeing the same thing on these three data centers also. There's a fourth and fifth I think which are showing the same results as these three. Really hope that it propogates
