I have read many threads on different forums that "How can I use SEO for my blog?" I simply don't understand this question because SEO is done when you try to make your "website" more easy to read for search engines, so what difference does it make if it is a website or a blog? Do search engines see blogs and websites differently?
In my opinion seo for blogs and websites is essentially the same. There are some minor differences though. For blogs there are many directories specifically for blogs. You can promote a blog by submitting your rss feed to various directories. It is also much easier to promote a blog via links from other blogs. Blog owners are much more likely to link to other blogs instead of to a commercial website.
SEO for a static website and a blog are a bit different, generally the same techniques are used, but with blogs, extra techniques can be used as well when it comes to getting backlinks.
' Blog Directories, Pinging content as it's created, commenting, etc. Many reasons a blog can get different exposure... which can bet easier to promote because of the way they are designed.
