Are you doing that simultaneously? No, I see no logic in that. You know, the results may differ depending on geographical location of the user, but your case is inexplicable for me.
hi, I just did a search in IE and then repeated the same search in Firefox. I tried it again, due to the results. Well, in both cases the results were different. I used www.google.co.uk in both browsers. IE: Results 1 - 10 of about 28,400,000 for 419. (0.20 seconds) Firefox: Results 1 - 10 of about 50,900,000 for 419. (0.03 seconds) So, in IE, I clicked preferences (next to search) and chose "do not filter my results". Now both browsers return the same result. I have noticed more than one person have a difference in result between browsers... so I'd recommend checking your google preferences in IE and then in Firefox. This could be why. -Ryan
