Different PR for same domain of GOOGLE !!!

    Hi friends this is unbelievable result, different PR display for the same domain of google.

    Do you have any idea how can it possible?? this is very strange result ever seen.:eek:

    Probably a bug in the toolbar. My McAfee Siteadvisor extension for firefox sometimes lags like that.

    OR maybe it's the page rank of old page :) you opend as it takes some time to update the pr of new site in Tool bar

    this happens because many time site gets loaded in browswer but toolbar does not update PR for current page. it shows PR of last visited page.
    this problem is mainly because of delay in DNS lookup. i belive your ISP in baroda has quite laggy DNS. this is common problem with ISPs in India

    i opened both the URL at same place and same time.there is only minimal time gap for open that url.even though it is possible

    There is an infrastructure upgrade occuring right now. Only those data centers that have been upgraded show the newest visible PR update. You may have accessed an upgraded data center and one that has not been upgraded. Or not.

    this is bug with google.

    i had a site which was showing PR 3 when used with http://

    and it was showing PR5 when used www.

    Same experience. In one computer within the same network in the same room is showing PR3 while another computer is showing pr0 :)

    That's not a bug, Google sees pages with and without www prefix as two different domains...

    So you'll either have to set a 301 redirect or use preferred domain

    I see this all the time so its nothing new. I have always guessed its just your browser hitting a different data centre that holds different page rank.

    Run a page rank check on some of the data centers and you'll see a difference.

    this might be due to current update going on google for different data-centers.
