IS that possible Different pages can have different PR. I thought PR is given to Domain. But from its full form "page rank" i have some doubt .
Each and every page indexed in Google will be given a certain PR and that includes the domain/homepage.
Many times you might even find the PR of the internal pages of sites being higher than the homepages shares and that is due to the links pointing at them.
PR is given to a page, not a domain. What is mistaken for the domain or site PR is actually the PR for the home page.
As the title clearly suggests, Page rank is the rank assigned to each individual page. Depending on the page where number of back links connect to...from a higher PR site, the page rank is assigned! Since the amount of backlinks to a particular page varies, so does the page rank. People generally connect to the home/index page of a site and so it is natural for index/home page to rank higher! Each page has it's own PR. I've noticed it on a couple of my blogs where some posts will have a much higher PR than the home page.
obviously, every page will be having different PR and thats why its name is "Page Rank" and not Domain Rank...
