Different pages on days for same keywords.

Hey, I have a confusion that why google takes up different pages of my site while searching for a same keyword on different days.

I don't understand why is this happening.

Like if for some keyword the home page comes in ranking then for same keyword after some days its internal page.

Please help me out with this.

 

You need to customize Titles of your pages and improve inner link structure

 

Yes it sounds like you have multiple pages optimized for the same keywords. You should try to focus each page on 1 or 2 specific keyword phrases. Then also try to get extra links to your more important pages.

 

you should change your title and description on different pages.

 

Yeah update the titles and descriptions of your internal pages, then resubmit sitemap...

 

The reason might be Google Dance

On some particular period of months, Google updates its database.....and Pages keeps coming up and down

One possible way to get any website or page rank better in SERPs, is Get Incoming Links from Related website. The more Incoming Links you get the better are the SERPs for that page

But hey, Getting Incoming Links is tricky, a little more links in less time, can raise Google Alarms

You should choose the websites linking to you carefully, otherwise again Google Alarms are raised

Moreover, the position of those links....Links part of related text are valued more than the links part of a link list

But the problem is that now the site is not getting its ranking back with the original page.

Still a lot efforts are done on that. But the position is not changing. If its a Google dance then after the chaging of databases the ranking should come back or at least gradually come up in ranking.....But its not the case...so in what aspect should i concentrate.

Should i concentrate more on back links or getting just ranks n position back and getting traffics.
