Please have a look at this website.. I am creating this website for a friend of mine and was just testing it by viewing it in different browsers. I found out that the same code gives different look out in different browser. In CHROME and IE we can see there is light greyish color wrapper which wrap all the content of the the site but it is missing in FIREFOX. In CHROME & FIREFOX we can see that three images i.e., the one with welcome written in it, the one with 'no photo available' image in it and one in black with 'SMART NAV' written in it, appears to be transparent image but in IE we see a light bluish color box around these images. In CHROME my wrapper goes upto the bottom of the page but in IE it finishes in the middle leaving contents going out of it. How can I fix these problem... I WANT IT TO APPEAR AS IT APPEARS IN CHROME...
There seems to be a stray character at the start of the file. This could be preventing some browsers from seeing your <!DOCTYPE> statement properly, which would cause them to render the page in Quirks mode.
Yep, the file starts with a period, which is not valid. % lynx -source -dump http://www.test.snapsvilla.com/ | od -a 0000000 . < ! D O C T Y P E sp h t m l sp Code (markup):
if i remove that then i wont get my main wrapper to viewed in Chrome and it will appear as same in Firefox in all browser
