Different link results

The keyword tracker for my site here on digitalpoint shows 2 backlinks but the google link command shows 789.

How come they are different?

 

Did you try deleting the url and re-entering it?

 

Thanks, that works now but why doesnt it update without deleting?

Does that mean I need to delete all the others to get the correct results?

 

The page count is that way but the links should update when Google updates. It must not have automaticly done it this last time.

It would be nice if you could update those much like you can update your SERP results.

 

Sometimes it just happens.
There are massive differences across the datacenters at the moment - for both page count and link count.
clicking on the relevant backlink entry will sometimes update it, sometimes not.
I'm seeing different results from the API near enough everytime I run a link: query at the moment.
