Hello. I've a question: if you have, for example a food blog, can you add keywords with highest cpc as insurance or loans? is this allowed by adsense or i'll get banned sooner o later?

    Thanks for any help

It all depends what kind of articles a blog have. Suppose you have a blog on Food so you will see ads related to food. But if you post an article related to LOANS... possibly you will see few ads related to loans.

if you add the keywords unrelated to your topic just to get better paying ads, then yes it is a problem, but it will materialize (with ban email) only when someone at google will act on it.
Plus you might get better paying ads, but your CTR will go very low, so overall your eCPM will be lower, plus of course you run the risk of losing it all.

Very true, related keywords should be the ones that should be ranked for your blog/site.

Well, it's not 2003 anymore. So you won't be fooling Google by using "mesothelioma" in your non related blog.
You can put any keywords you want in your blog, but chances are you won't get any traffic for them.
Just choose a niche, target some keywords (inside that niche) and optimize your blog for it. Of course it helps if your niche has high paying keywords, so CPC will be higher.
If you want to target high CPC keywords, so be it, but do it wholeheartedly, not confused with food topics...
