Different G! SERP results-How do you get this?

    First of all, yes, it is kinda common but I think Google only does it for the #1 in each SERP. I've only read about it once or twice and I believe Google does that to the most popular pages in popular sites.

    It's been like that for a few months now. It happens when a site is considered to be an authority on a particular search phrase

    Its a popular feature and google decides themselves if a site is worthy of that type of search result.

    I think its assigned to sites that are a well established authority on a particular search term.
