    For the past years, mobile phones are the most popular channel for both marketing and advertising. Being the very essential tool on our generation it is the easiest way to reach their target audiences. There are different types of mobile advertisements available nowadays.

    Text Messages: This is the simplest and the most popular mobile marketing strategy. It simply connects to their target thru simple SMS (Short Message Services). A very common message that we usually receive: "Want latest Harry potter book? Subscribe now by replying yes". This may be very simple but it can catch the attention of your target customers.

    Multimedia Messaging Services: A text message has its limitation, first is that it only supports SMS and has a limited no. of characters per message. But not like MMS advertisement it contain Images/Audio/ video.

    On-demand Multimedia content: with the very high powerful multimedia capabilities of our mobile phones, the demand of multimedia content is also very high. Example of this is that we can advertise our product is much creative and interesting way, like putting messages after every video.

    Web based Advertisement: WAP is the way internet is reaching our phones, our phone is becoming an active mode of internet and web page s, there would come a time that mobile internet can overcome the use of PC's.

    Advertisement using Bluetooth/Infrared: A cost free wireless communication technologies nowadays is Bluetooth and infrared. But these technologies have limitation with distance, and these technologies require user's permission, so we cannot broadcast it without the owner’s permission.

    Location Based Services: Location Based service (LBS) this is provided by operators in sending information requested by the audience based on their location. Operator provides info for subscribers to have knowledge of what they have to know on a specific location. This advertisement may be based on test message, banner based or even icon based depending on the users subscription.

    Miscellaneous: there are many different types of advertisement that we can use; mobile coupons, short codes are very useful in targeting consumers.

    Mobiles phones provide a two way communication advertising between owners and customers. This is the simplest and very common way of reaching to them.
