Hi, Can I update blogs, made on different platforms like blogspot, wordpress, etc with the same content. For example, an article is also get published in various sites. Will it be considered as a case of duplicate content?
Yes this will be considered as duplicate content. you can spin your content before publishing on different platforms.
Have to agree with everyone above... It's definitely DC. So It would be a good idea to choose where you want most of your traffic to end up. Then just create similar content to post on the other platforms while directing the reader to view more info by going over to your main blog. Good Luck
Using same contents on different sites will dilute the visitors on each of your site and not be worth the time spent. Better stuck with a single platform and promote that will full effort.
I think it will not count as a good content if you do so and after Google Panda Update, it is not so good to use such method.. You need to generate new content for each & every blogs which can give you the good visitors as Google always likes the unique and rich content.
Google is focusing greatly on content now, as in updation in Panda algorithm the value of content increase greatly. Now once you submit content anywhere on internet , it should not be published again, else it would be consider as duplicate. But yes its true that it difficult to gen rate so much content, so you can use spin copies of your article.
It's not good for all blogs because It will be considered as duplicate content. So do not post same content on different blogs..
Make sure that you make changes to the article before you are submitting to that much directories. If you don't then it would be considered as duplicate content and that is someting that Google doesn't like.
Agree with all above, Google hates duplicate content. One way to get away with this is using a canonical tag. Using this in the code of the duplicate page basically let's Google know that you are using content but the original source is the other page. Still though, duplicate content should be avoided. Even rewriting creates low quality content. And, in addition to hating duplicate content, Google hates low quality web pages. My suggestion - write unique content for each website. You can use Copyscape to check the content to make sure it will be viewed as unique by Google. If it isn't, Copyscape shows you the areas of duplication.
Since Panda update Google is very strict and giving extra priority to fresh and informative content. You may try your own technique in generating fresh content; it may be relacing some words with synonyms from a sentence or by just spinning it thoroughly.Use Google search before publishing the content to check its uniqueness
Yes. that is still duplicate content. when an article is copied and paste it to several sites, it doesnt matter what kind of platform and it is considered duplicate.
