Different between register and renew fees?

    I heared fees are different on register and renew? so they are really different? as a sample, what about GoDaddy's fees?

    There are not always different but yes some registrars charge more for renewals

    The idea is simple, let him be comfortable and familiar with our system and statistically he will remain the 2nd year

    .info and .org are cheap for the 1st year, then renewal rates are high

    Just be aware that domain registrars are within their rights to charge any fee
    they see fit. If you don't agree to it, then don't use their service, or move to
    another registrar if you're currently using them.

    There's no set standard for pricing.
