Different Between Onpage & Offpage Optimization,which is most important factor SEO.

 

Onpage means optimization on your website pages, where offpage means link building for your website from other websites.

 

On-page and Off-page both factors are best for our website point of SEO and lot's of factors use in Off-page and on-page meta content, sitemap, XML and Article submission, Blog Commenting, Forum posting etc......

On Page Optimization is the activity that is done on the page for search engine ranking like using alt tags, keywords is meta tag, tool tip and proximity, keyword-density, proper usage of keywords in heading tags.

Off Page Optimization is the activity that is done on other sites for our site to increase search engine ranking. Off Page Optimization activities include directory submission, article submission, forum discussion, blog posting, press release, blog commenting, white paper submission and along with this social bookmarking (in digg, delicious, reddit, stumbleupon) and social media promotion (in facebook, twitter, linkedin). Off page optimization creates strong back links for our site which not only helps for search engine ranking but also for drive traffic from sites where we have done all these submissions.

On page optimisation within the content of your landing pages you can find bits which relate to other areas of your site, so you would hyperlink a phrase or a keyword to that page. On page also consists of title, meta description, header 1 and your content.

Off page optimisation - bascially anything that is done externally to help improve your site rankings, through industry related links such as directories, blog posts, press releases etc.

 

I have a feeling that quality off page optimization will soon be more important than on page. The new Google update seems to be going after over optimized on page seo. I'm sure it will still be important, but linking to quality sites related to your business along with social marketing I think will help a lot of people get good rankings. I'm still experimenting with this right now.

Both are important for SEO. On page optimization refers to factors that have an effect on your Web site or Web page listing in natural search results. On Page are directly related to the content and structure of the website. Off page is process were you work externally to promote your website. It doesn't have any affect on your site.

Offpage is more important BY A LONGSHOT. Amount of backlinks, authority of backlinks, and link reputation (anchor text) are the most important things to focus on. I know from experience. Good luck!
