Different Anchor texts in backlinks from one page?

Does that make sense to have different anchor texts in the backlinks to your website from one permanent page such as a blog? Does Google consider all of them or just considers one of them and ignores the rest?

No mate.. If same link is given multiple times on same page, google just picks up the first occurance of the link and creates a back link for that anchor text.
So no point in using diff anchor text for same link on same page...

I had a permanent backlink to one of my websites with multiple Anchor texts. Weirdly, it seems that Google has not picked the first anchor text and rather has picked the anchor that I had repeated a couple of times in the page. Any ideas? Can somebody verify this?

If you want to have a lot of keywords for a specific landing page.. it is ok.. but for a new site.. you should focus first to only one keyword..
