Different Adgroups, same keywords - what happens?

    Hi,

    I am anticipating having some adgroups that will share the same keywords. I realise this is not best practise, but the adwords accountg I will be managing is handled by more than one person.

    Which ad will google show? Will it show more than one ad for the same keywords? I know the CTR can determine which ad creative is shown for a single adgroup, but does the CTR gave a factor when dealing with different adgroups?

    The best performing one will show, regardless of which ad group its in. Google is money hungry and will serve the one that makes them most.

    You can have the ad group set up to show all keywords evenly.
