Difference Linking - External & Internal

What is difference sandwiched between External linking and Internal linking?

Im not sure if i answered you question but
External Linking would be backlink to other sites.
Internal would be linking within your site. e.g if you have a blog and you write an article
you add a link on that article to another article on your blog...

for e.g
if you are talking about making money in the 1st article and you mention affiliate marketing, and you have an article on affiliate marketing on your blog..you just put the article marketing anchor text on the 1st making money article..

Internal link is the link on webpage that links of another page in the same site (inbound link).
External link is the link on webpage that links of another sites or domains (outbound link).

 

Internal links spread your votes to different pages in your sites and external links give your vote to other sites.

I just to want chime in on internal links. I was unaware of their importance, until recently. Internal links helps a great deal in getting your less popular pages ranked and visible in searches. Taking the time to build inbound links is a win-win. The popular pages help the less popular pages in getting recognized, and as a whole, all the pages now work together to make the entire site show easier in searches. Don't quote me on this, but I've heard that you want to be careful that you don't go overboard with internal links, as this may be a sign of over optimization to Google. Maybe others can elaborate more on that.

External backlinks are extremely helpful in rankings. In my opinion, only use manually built backlinks for your external links. I wouldn't trust backlink software.

External Linking : Links from other site (abc.com to def.com)

Internal Linking : Links to other pages (abc.com to abc.com/ab)

internal links means in your own website you have added a link to another pages or content, whereas external means you are creating backlink from other websites/blogs.

 

internal links mean links within your own website, while external links are those links which are from other sites to your site.

External Linking means the links which are available on the websites and which will redirect to some another sites after click,these links are know as External Linking.
