    Hello All,

I am using Google Adwords for my website.

I noticed in my PPC report that on 19th April... there was 85 Clicks from Google PPC.... but I checked the same in Google Analytics.... Google Analytics not showing any of Clicks from Google / CPC....

I can see traffic from Google PPC content network (referral traffic).... but it was only 18 visitors

So what is the problem in my PPC campaign or Analytics....?

Please suggest me a solution for this problem.... Thanks in advance ...

You may have to check on the keywords on google adwords which is showing 85 clicks
and then check for the ad groups as well which have to be shuffled

I checked that but analytics not showing PPC clicks... that's why I am asking... Even I also checked my settings ...

    Tracking - edit
    Auto-tagging: Yes

So... that means Google analytics showing the clicks of Google CPC... but it is not showing me.

Around March 24th Google changed the way it imports data into Analytics. You need to make sure your adwords account is linked to your analytics account, and that cost data is applied.

They were meant to send an email to everyone it applied to, but I didn't get mine either, and it was a while before we noticed (traffic levels on the account don't go down - your ppc traffic will now be counted as direct traffic in your analytics).

We had problems linking our account though and had to speak to our Google rep - all very annoying...

I checked my analytics report... and i noticed that till 25th March I can see the data of Google / CPC searches ... but from 26th March I can see only clicks of Google Content Network (Referral Traffic) .... So why Google showing referral traffic of paid advertising but not showing traffic of Paid Search advertising... why so...??

I just told you why so. It only applied to Paid Search advertising.

If your account is linked properly then you need to check that you have "Apply Cost Data" selected. You'll then probably have to wait around 24 hours for the data to start tracking properly again. If you want any more info I just looked this up for you:

    http://www.google.com/support/forum/...f4215d2&hl=en]

Or if you're still having problems I would suggest contacting your Google account rep - they'll ask for your Analytics and Adwords details and should be able to set it up for you - but beware they're really busy at the moment and it took them about 4 days to get mine set up...

sorry about the link, to do the cost data you need to:

Log in to your AdWords account at https://adwords.google.com.

    Click on the Analytics tab.

Click 'Edit' next to the profile you would like to edit.

Click the 'Edit' link in the upper-right corner of the 'Main Website Profile Information' box.

Check the 'Apply Cost Data' checkbox.

Click on the 'Save Changes' button.

It's a known fact even for Google that the AdWords data and the Analytics don't match. Some of it, mainly the conversions is due to the fact that the cookies work differently and live for a different time.
Other than that you should check that you Analytics is connected to your adwords account: Go to your analytics through your Adwords account, click edit on your PPC profile, Click edit on the first article and check the "apply cost data" box.

Mine is linked as well and there is not a "edit" section under the tab.

Plus I have added this acct already over 1 week ago and it still does not display...

"Although this AdWords account is linked to an Analytics account, your AdWords login email address is not listed as a user on that Analytics account. Please contact the administrator of the Analytics account and request that they add you as a user to this Analytics account. "

I get the above message but it is incorrect.

if you've entered everything correctly then it may be a glitch - contact your google account rep and explain the problem- they'll get together with the analytics team and sort it out for you
