In various places Amazon hints that the commissions are higher if you handle more of the transaction via A2WS and your own cart management, versus just making a product link that brings the customer straight to the Amazon store. However, I can't find any concrete documentation that supports this. Any time I see actual commission numbers, they seem to be the same. What's the real deal? Is it worth the extra hassle of dealing with carts and orders or should I just bounce the customer over to amazon.com as soon as it looks like they want to buy?
I've found that there are several advantages to use Amazon Web Services. Basically you could build your own site, and sell amazon products from your site as though they are your own. Not only do you get a better commission amount, but if you build a brand, then people can keep coming back to your site to purchase. thanks, PuReWebDev
