What kind of differences? We can be broad or we can be deep about it. For starters, XP is a home based designed OS. 2003/2008 were designed for businesses and have more business based services installed and things like media/audio disabled by default.

the biggest difference is 2003 and 2008 can be turned into domain controllers and host a copy of AD and the GC and has a whole range of server related services to _control_ a network - whilst XP is mearly a client OS with client services as standard which can _join_ a network
