Difference between XML and HTML

    what is the difference between the html site map and xml site map??
    why is this xml site map so important????
    N google can't crawl this html site map or what???

    XML is a predefined data structure that is easier to manipulate. But, as to why a preference of one over the other, I think that is simply Google likes it better (due to faster processing times and more flexibility).

    ?? Anyone think otherwise?
