Hello Members!!! As my title says.. tell me the difference between web 2.0 and web 3.0 and also explain me about web 3.0??? Thanks,
Interesting question! Here you have a nice article on the matter. Take a look: http://www.practicalecommerce.com/articles/464-Basic-Definitions-Web-1-0-Web-2-0-Web-3-0 Hope it helps!
I think we're not really there with Web 3.0 yet. Web 2.0 is supposed to be more about dynamic experiences and I would say Web 3.0 takes that further by giving the end-user more control. In that, there will be tighter customization, more opt-in and permission marketing options, and a strong focus on social media. In essence, Web 3.0 is an ideal whereas the audience/community is at part of the core experience. A user-generated, user-driven experience. Of course, everyone has different explanations for it. I see it more from a functional perspective, though the technical implications are fascinating as well. What it all boils down to is how we will consume information and interact online. Web 1.0 was very flat and static. It was a linear experience with no real control. Web sites were mostly brochures. Then Web 2.0 added some basic user-generated content options in the form of comments, voting, and various social signals and sharing. Still, I think we have ways to go before the paradigm shift is fully embraced whereas the social aspect of social media and social networking is truly executed upon by everyone.
