This may sound like a dumb question, but what is the difference between vBulletin and VBSEO? Also, I want to implement an iTrader, Rep and Infractions system for my forum, so which one should I choose for this purpose? Let me know, thanks.
vBulletin is the actual forum software. VBSEO is a module (paid) for vbulletin that helps with SEO by renaming common vbulletin pages and ID numbers with words from the topic. iTrader is a module also (free). Rep and Infractions are built into vBulletin. Mark
Thanks for the reply. Let me get this straight: so in order to use VBSEO, I would need to purchase vBulletin and VBSEO separately in order to use the features in VBSEO? Which would make the cost $150 (VBSEO) + $160 (vBulletin owned license) = $310, is that correct? Also, where can I get the iTrader module? Thanks.
You can get most vbulletin mods at vbulletin.org .. if you need to hire someone to install vb or vb mods .. PM me
Correct. There is other tools that can be used for SEO other then VBSEO. I use VBSEO on a few forums, but it just costs to much to use on all forums. Zoints SEO is free and not a bad solution. vbulletin.org is a good souce for mostly free mods. Mark
