difference between pub-xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx and ca-pub-xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx?

    Just signed up with adsense, and the code the adsense site gave had my publisher's code as pub-xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx but when I used blogger to insert it, it added a ca- in the front. While I don't think that'd affect my earnings (as I don't think Google would make that mistake :) ), am just curious as to what the extra bit means...

    It doesn't mean anything or effect anything. (Are you from California!) LOL Just jokin, if you explore your adsense account you will see that somewhere, I forgot where?

    Hey It does'nt matter. If you see in google adsense settings, it will also look like this...
