I am going to try media traffic, i would like to ask what is difference between pay per view and pay per impression? are they same?

and, when i pay for 100 views , my site will be viewed 100 times or my ad will be viewed 100 times?

    thanks

PPI tends to be more about banner advertising, where you are charged simply per impression, when that banner loads on a site. So the visitor to the site might not actually view the banner.
PPV is sort of the same thing, but generally you get better conversions as the placement of the ad is more "in view" of the visitor, if not the whole page is the ad.

    Well sort of :)

Now I am not an expert, but from how I understand it is that with PPV, the visitor will actually see your ad. I think many times the ad is a full page ad, so not just a banner (but maybe sometimes it is).

But with PPI all that has to happen is that the banner loads on the page. Example, if you have a blog with many posts on it which make the page scroll down a long time... if a banner is at the bottom of that page and it loads, then that will count as an impression, even if the visitor never actually saw the banner because it was "hidden".

But don't take my word for how it works, that's just how I think it works.

If you are using Media Traffic, your ads will be served with a pop-up window. Media Traffic is a CPV (cost per view) network that serves popup traffic. So in this case you would paying per view (pop up). The minimum you would pay per target is .015 per view. What is it that you are looking to advertise?
