Does anyone know the difference between using links:sitename.com, link:sitename.com and inlinks:sitename.com?

Each one gives a different number of responses and I am curious what each one does specifically.

    Ex.
    link:accenture.com - 2,600 results
    links:accenture.com - 1,110,000 results
    inlinks:accenture.com - 175,000

    Thanks for the heads up!

link: is for links to your site.
links: is for the word 'links' in reference to the domain in question. (It's not a search command. Google is seeing it as an actual word to search for.)
    inlinks: same as links:

    Hope this helps,
    -drmike

edit: In other words links: and inlinks: are incorrect usage of google commands.

Thanks DrMike for nice answer. :)

I almost forget such searches for now I only use seoquake add-on for this purpose.

    Have a nice day,
