Difference between KW ## and real SERP

    I have an unusual case.

    One of my key-phrases is # 16th in G's SERP.
    KW Tracker is showing that my position got better - #9.

    But there is no change on SERP. Still #16.

    Are there delays between KW tracker results and SERP?

    There has been no correlation between Keyword Tracker and G SERPs since G started this update. G's own datacenters are hopelessly out of synch. It all depends upon which datacenter you are accessing locally.


    Hey Shawn, do you have any idea which datacenter is being accessed through the Google API?

    It's just like a web search, it is not bound to a specific data center.

    May be it's connected with *geotargeting* issue. Probably G works on relevancy according to certain IP location. Actually quite logical - important resource for US (high rank) might be or should be not so important in Japan... :)
