Difference between internal ranking and external ranking factors?

    Internal ranking: Internal ranking is about the content on pages in a site for example Meta tags keywords etc. This also happens with on site optimization.
    External ranking: It is a work for off site like link popularity, inbound links and etc…
    Both are the very important for Search Engine Optimization purpose and a good page rank.

    Internal links are those links that are within the site or when a site's page links to another page on the same site.
    Wheras External links are those links that come to your site from other sites due to the link building that you might have done.

    It is not internal ranking and external ranking. You have explained about on page SEO and off page SEO in your post.
