Hi Guys, I need some suggestion, what is the difference between in google blogger blog & domain base blog. an example like, I have blogger blog like abccarrental.blogspot.com and sencond is domain base blog like abccarrental.com/blog both are working for same website which one is good and why ?
If you want to make a professional website and you do have the necessary resources than you should go fo the .com/blog. One advantage that came in my mind is that you can customize a lot your blog. On blogspot the single advantage is that you get free hosting. And i could also add, you get indexed faster.
blogger is a free hosted blogging platform that allows anyone to start a blog. second one is a blog on a custom domain name that is has its own hosting. you control the second blog 100% where you have limited control over blogger blog. if you just want to run a hobby blog and post once in a while, then a free hosted blog is ok. however, if you want to run a business and need a professional looking blog, then self hosted blog under your own domain name would be lot more professional.
These guys pretty much covered it. The blogspot blog is under limited control, and its not very professional since you don't have your own domain. But if you are just starting out, maybe you can start with the blogspot blog and then if you get some followers move to a real domain blog.
If you want to run a blogging in long term, I suggest you to choose Wordpress's software and run a own domain name and paid web hosting service. There are plenty of free plugins, you can select and pick them. This can increase your credibility on readers / visitors.

If you go through Free Blogger Blog, you can creat a blog which preferred by Google, but you have limited resources for customized your blog whereas in other hands on domain blog, you can customized your blog according to your requirement...It is good to know that you are going with domain base blog.
google love to delete free blogspot blogs for no reason. so how this affects if I buy a domain with them?
The main difference is you don't have control over your blog if ti's a free one, they could yank it at any time.
The FREE blogs are very limited and not good for branding. Many people start off then when they find this out, they switch to a self hosted blog... Self hosted also look much more professional..
Hey guys!Do you think it would be a good idea to start off on a blogger site and see how that goes first? I am choosing a niche right now and am about to write some content. I am thinking about getting some amount of content and then moving it to a domain hosted blog. Because there is no point in me buying a domain and hosting if I find out that the niche is not working for me..
