Difference Between HTML and XML Sitemap

    As We know that XML Sitemap is used for search engine and HTML sitemap is for users. Have you any tips which help to designing a better HTML Sitemap.

    Limit amount of links per page to e.g. 100. Consider using two columns. Consider only including the most important sections/pages.

    HTML sitemaps are basically for the human users and have no real importance for the SE crawlers. Make a page for the site map and arrange all the pages with the amount of links on them.

    i thing google webmaster don't accept html?
    For all my website i use only xml...
    some days ago i found a good video who explayn who is better...

    html sitemaps has almost nothing to do with search engines.

    Google itself is in xml form so its easy for google bots to crawl xml format then html. Do 1 thing submit your site's xml url in sites and you will get the result in the form of new cached date.

    Ok, so conclusion is that the best way to use sitemaps are using sitemaps in XML format...

    I have tried to use Google sitemap plugin for Wordpress, but it doesn't work! It doesn't want to create sitemap. Anyone used this already, or know what's it about?
