Hi all. I have a Turkish website with quality backlinks and content. But there is a problem; when I search target word in google.com, my website is in 1st page and 1st place. But in google.com.tr my website is in 5th page. What do you think, what should I do to take it in 1st page?
u don't necessarily need a Turkish hosting, u just need to Geo-target ur domain to turkey or get urself a .turkey extension (been there and done that)

@ meethere: yes, you should login at Google webmaster tools and assign it to Turkey, if it has a turkey extention, google will auto-assign it to turkey.
Try also to get backlinks from sites with .tr domain. That will also help to increase your KW ranking in serp.
Well geo-target means targeting a specific geographical location. Very easy to do while doing PPC but a bit tricky while doing SEO. As rightly pointed out by other members, there is a option in Google's webmaster tool to assign your website to a specific geography like Turkey. Helps Google ranking website for country specific Google search like google.com.tr . If you have a .com website then Google finds it more relevant for google.com. Getting a country specific domain is the best option (if possible) to get high rankings on google.com.tr. As you said, the website is hosted on a server based in Turkey which is a right thing to do. Apart from that, getting inbound links from Turkish domains is a good idea and would definitely help. Submit your website to local directories. In a nutshell try various off page activities which has a local flavor
